Meet Austin

As a Client Relationship Manager at Stonebridge Financial Partners, Austin Potter’s client-first approach provides financial confidence. He works with our team in the day-to-day servicing of portfolios, assisting clients and meeting preparations. His careful and consistent work ethic allows him to take an active role in helping our clients pursue their financial goals.

Austin grew up in Big Rapids, Michigan, and attended Michigan State University. He graduated from the Eli Broad College of Business with a degree in Finance. After graduation, he moved to Auburn Hills, where he spent nearly three years working for Plante Moran as a financial advisor. He currently holds Series 7 and 65 registrations.

After his experience with Plante Moran, he wanted to leverage his entrepreneurial spirit and become a financial trader. Using personal funds, he created proprietary financial models to take advantage of market opportunities and create value. While he enjoyed the role of trader for nearly two years, he wanted to return to the financial services industry and provide the highest level of service for his clients. These previous experiences provided significant insight into the financial world, which has molded a well-rounded financial professional.

While out of the office, Austin enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. He can be found at his family cottage on Sage Lake in the summer or snowboarding on Crystal Mountain in the winter. His greatest passions include weightlifting, traveling, snowboarding, golfing, hiking and watching Michigan State athletics. He has traveled to more than 20 countries, including Belgium, Italy, Spain, England, Portugal, France, Serbia, Hungary and Germany.
